This year's ornament, entitled "Christmas Sheaf", has been created with the true spirit of giving and receiving at Christmas in mind. Artist Finn Nęss-Schmidt has captured the tenderness of sharing with nature's children during the Christmas season.

The ornament is made of gold-plated brass, and comes with a dated ribbon.

Finn Nęss-Schmidt. Born in 1945. Finn Nęss-Schmidt first distinguished himself as an overglaze painter at Royal Copenhagen in 1960. From 1973 to 1986 he worked as the manager of the overglaze painting department. Since 1986, he has been product development manager at Royal Copenhagen. where his recent creations include the porcelain dinner service entitled "Fairy Tale".
