Nature lovers the world over will delighT in the Nature's Children Plate from Royal Copenhagen. The warming rays of an afternoon sun...three young rabbits enjoy a peaceful moment in the beautiful meadow while mother watches over them.
"The Rabbits" is the sixth and final issue in this series of in-glaze decorated plates inspired by some of Denmark's most popular animal babies. The motif was designed by Jørgen Nielsen.
Jørgen Nielsen. Born 1942. Artist Jørgen Nielsen has been affiliated with Royal Copenhagen since 1959. Trained as an overglaze painter, he is also an accomplished underglaze painter on porcelain, faience and stoneware.
